It's down from 37,423 in 2009 and 43,510 in 2005. That's still too high, but I do think that's a huge accomplishment that we've managed to make changes that literally saved close to 10,000 lives when compared to 2005. And, fwiw, the rate of fatalities per mile drive had dropped, and continues to drop since 1994- that shows it's not just that people are driving less, but that they are also driving safer. That means safety advocates are making headway, and are changing minds, which is a huge win :thumbsup:
