I wonder if the police even realized the baby was in the vehicle. If they had, they probably would have used other methods such as continuing to clear out traffic ahead and letting the car run out of gas instead of deploying the spikes. Once they do that, who knows how the driver will respond.

I agree. It's highly unlikely the cops would have continued a high speed choice knowing a tiny defenseless baby was in the car

I could never put myself infront of a child... She didnt even care that her baby could and did get hurt she was only thinking about herself. Even with kids that are not mine i would risk my life for them to be safe
That's how MOST responsible (or sane) adults are, this lady obviously wasn't
