Costco.com has a 7 pack set of bumkins bibs for $27.99.

It includes:
2 starter bibs
3 superbibs
1 long sleeve bib
1 junior bib

They have a boys pack, a girls pack, or a Dr. Seuss pack.

Is this a good deal?

I would think so, because if you were to buy those on Amazon this is what it would cost you:

2 starter bibs - $11.90
3 superbibs - $19.95
1 long sleeve bib - $16.95
1 junior bib - $11.95

TOTAL: $60.75

That's a great deal if you think you'll need that many bibs. We have three of the superbib size for DD2, and so far it's plenty. (She does generally eat at least three times a day.)

On the other hand, if I saw that deal in a store and didn't have to pay shipping or have a membership, I'd probably be all over it. The Bumkins bibs are awesome, and we haven't used any others with DD since she started eating. And that's sayin' something, because I have a ton of other bibs left from DD1. No matter how messy the bib gets, I just rinse it off, squirt a tiny dab of dish detergent on it and rub it around a bit to wash it. All of ours still look great.

We are planning on doing babyled solids.

I don't know how many bibs I will need. I do know we want a long sleeve bib. J was such a messy eater. We don't have J's bibs anymore. Most of the long sleeve bibs I've seen lately, the wrist holes are too big. These look like they would fit better.

It also wouldn't hurt to house one in each diaper bag too. I suppose if I ended up with too many, I could sell some.

We are already costco members. I'm not sure how much their shipping is.

We do babyled solids and I dont think that would be too many. I cant tell you how many times I have left the house without a bib because they were in the wash. A dedicated one for the diaper bag that didnt need to be laundered after each use would be awesome. I need to check out that deal. I love bumpkins bibs!

Do you need a membership to shop costco.com?

Then I would totally get them, if I were you, assuming that shipping isn't too much.

Or you could buy them on eBay, with free shipping.

I think you can buy from costco.com without a membership, but you pay extra.

I've never ordered from them online, but I just registered my account and linked in my member number. It said that the shipping charge is already included in the price.

Wow, the member surcharge is only $1.40, so with tax it's only $31.15. You don't know how sorely tempted I am to buy a set! I better go to bed and think about it in the morning. :p

Ha! That ebayer has some negative feedback. Looks like she "sells" items listed on Costco and Sam's Club and has them drop shipped to her buyers while she takes a huge profit.

Ebay certainly isn't what it used to be 8 years ago is it.

Your tax is cheaper than mine. My total with tax and no surcharge is $30.58.

Wow, great deal! These (superbibs) are my favorite bib! We have a bunch and still use these sometimes with our 2 and 4 year olds. They have held up very well, even after many, many times through the washing machine (hang to dry).

Yeah me too. I've been eyeing these bibs, but due to the cost keep trying to convince myself that the other five kids survived without them. They just stained their clothes and since dd4 is intended to be the youngest, I shouldn't worry about staining her clothes. I've also heard that IKEA bibs are similar for very cheap. I forgot to look for them when I went there, so I haven't even seen them in person. (I wish I had remembered the bibs!)

The wrists of the long sleeved ikea bibs looked pretty big to me last time I looked at them. I have tiny kids and want the sleeves to not fall past the wrists.

It is a good deal, but I doubt you will use all of them. You are better off getting four or five superbibs and giving one to the sitter, keeping one in the diaper bag and then two at home.

I have gotten good deals on them from baby catalog before.

Has Ikea changed their bibs? When I tried their long sleeved bibs, they were too small, but that was a while ago. I wish they had worked for us because they were a much better price.

We have about 16 superbibs and we use them all. :D
