xt cover on an 80sl??

Is it possible to put a flora xt cover on a 80 sl??

i believe someone else did, and used the infant insert to fill the wings, as it is allowed to be a toddler head pillow, iirc they posted pics and it was cute but i can't remember who it was.

I've seen mixed results on whether the older covers fit on the SL models. The snaps are different for sure, and I can remember at least one thread saying that it didn't fit at all.

I'm pretty sure everyone who has tried can get the SL covers on the older seats (again, snaps are different, but no biggie).

I remember the thread Louisa is talking about, too. The infant insert (the body half, not head half) fit through the slits perfectly.

Although, I recall a different thread where Laurette(?) put an XT cover on a regular seat and you barely noticed the slits. :shrug-shoulders:

I had a Malibu XT cover on my 65sl. Fit snugly, but it wasn't going anywhere. Let me see if I can find pics.

Oh, and monstah put the pillow through the slits and it fit perfectly.
