Radian cover snaps missing

Got this seat (RNXT) from a great mama on here but it's missing the snaps/clips/whatever it is that holds the bottom cover in place. Should I contact SK and get a replacement snap or just attach it with a little velcro? Sorry for the huge picture.

Sorry, I was trying to edit it with a little smaller picture with no luck. It's up now.

You're just missing those darn black pegs that everybody on here speaks of. You know, those awful things that are incredibly hard to get off, so finally, somebody discovered to use the safe stop to pry it off. That thing.

No big deal. I know a lot of people leave them off. The cover stays on perfectly fine without them. In fact, a lot of us have asked the (rhetorical) question, "Why does SKJP even put those on?!" :)

Will the cover be more likely to slide off without it?

Ah, you posted while I was editing my earlier post --

I completely forgot about those!

Yeah, that wasn't the original cover. Once I got those damn things off, there was no way in high heaven I was putting them back on! It took 45 min just to get them off!(before I knew the splitter plate trick)

But I've had that cover on for over a year now, and like Mae said, It's never slipped off or come off or anything. I haven't had a problem.

Sorry I forgot to mention it but I had completely forgot! I think those pegs are long gone on my other Radian too

Not a problem at all. I haven't had a chance to use it much yet, but will be this week, so I wanted to make sure it was 'ready'. I wasn't sure if it would slip off at all without them. I'm also putting new stickers on today that I got from SKJP. Other than that, the seat is awesome!!! Thanks so much!!

Yeah those stickers suck. I tried to sell the Radian that still had the most stickers which was the one you got. LOL. My other one has ONE sticker left. On the whole thing! Glad you could get replacements! It'll be interesting to see if the new stickers hold up better than the old ones.

I have two Radians, one with the pegs, one without. I don't know which is which, the cover stays on so well.

I'm going to try to clean the old adhesive off with a little rubbing alcohol. Hopefully that will get the plastic clean enough so they stick well. I didn't have any issues with getting the stickers. Just contacted SKJP, gave them the seat info, and they sent them right out. I'm not worried about it, but just wanted to make sure it was all there. :)

That's great to know. I'm glad it won't be an issue. I didn't think it would be, but just wanted to make sure. :)

Why didn't anyone tell me about the safe stop/splitter plate trick before!!! I've spent hours trying to get those pins off. I think both my radians are now pin-less and I'm not putting them back on. The cover stays on fine without them.
