Is there some place I can comment about them allowing people to give away used/expired seats?

I've seen on my local freecycle 3 car seats in the last month offered. When I emailed the people to ask about DOM and crash information they had no idea. Of course they waited until someone took them anyhow.

I HATE to think that some family is getting a bad car seat just because they can't afford something better. DH is already planning to sledge hammer our seat when we're done because it's going to be VERY close to the exp date when we're done with it.

I figured if anyone would know it would be you ladies. THANKS!
oh I hope this is the right forum for this too.

When I email, I ask for the car seat. I don't tell them why. Just get if off the market. When at there house, sometimes I give them a safety tip, gets them thinking. Then I destroy the seat.

I have emailed the used carseat check list to many that are asking for a seat or gifting a seat. They usually always email me back thanking me.

The other day I emailed one lady and it was for a shield booster and I was not the only one that notified her. She pulled it off the list and was getting rid of it.
