Tall baby, small backseat - help?

Hi folks,

My one year old is nearing the height limit rf'ing for her britax roundabout. I would like to keep her rear-facing for at least another year, but the backseat of our 2007 vibe is pretty small, and my husband is 6'2, meaning the front seats need to be able to move back to accommodate his height. When we were shopping for carseats, the marathon didn't fit, which is why we ended up with the roundabout. I know I could just go to BRU and try all of their seats, but I'd like to at least narrow down my options before doing so. Thoughts/suggestions? Thanks so much!

I completely understand the small backseat issue. Tall seats that fit well in small backseats include the safety 1st complete air (very tall 40lb rf limit), true fit (very tall 35lb rf limit), and the evenflo momentum/triumph advance 65 (pretty tall 40lb rf limit). These seats can be installed as upright as 30 degrees (with the exception of the true fit at 35 degrees max).
Also while you are shopping you can install your roundabout at 30 degrees and that may give your daughter a little more room above her head. Have fun shopping!
