Baby Jogger Shoulder Pads - Are these worth it?

The Micro strollers do not come with any strap padding, but I found these.

Does anyone who has a stroller with these (assuming they are the same pads the other strollers come with) think they are worth it? Do they have velcro or do you have to undo the strap everytime you slip them on/off? ... although maybe that's better so that the child does not take them off and chuck them somewhere along the way ;)

Otherwise, I was thinking about an after market like this.

I'd say not worth it. The ones that came on my city mini are smaller than that and pretty worthless. They slide up and down. I usually have the straps pretty loose though and it doesn't really matter. The aftermarket ones look too heavily padded and would probably be annoying, IMO.

I wouldn't bother, honestly. I had a Micro double and we never had any pads on it and the girls slept in it with no complaints. I would imagine they would slide down to the buckle anyway.

I have the Mini double and the shoulder pads that came with it do not stay up in place. They are always sliding down to the belly areas of my boys. My boys don't mind sitting without the shoulder pads at all. HTH.

Thanks for the responses. Good to know not to bother with those before ordering them. Thanks. It occurred to me that my other strollers do not have pads so maybe we're fine without them (although I like the look of the ones Chrissy suggested :)). I think I was just thinking I needed them because the other Baby Jogger strollers had them, but so far, my girls don't seem to mind. :)
