Head excursion limits for boosters vs. untethered harness restraints

The limits are exactly the same for boosters and untethered harnessed seats. IIRC, the number is 813 milliimeters, measured from a somewhat arbitrary point that is about 4 inches behind the LATCH bars on the test bench.

Thank you. I'm still trying to decide whether or not to harness Abigail or just try to find her a better fitting booster.

This worries me. That's an os pw so pretty narrow already.

true, but the belt guide position is different on that vs. the recaro vivo... on the other hand... I wouldn't NORMALLY suggest it... but the Evenflo Big Kid might work (get the deluxe with the epp foam, of course)

Where can I find a big kid to try the fit on her?

I'm pretty sure part of the problem is that the belt comes from crazy high up in my truck. You can see it right at the top of the headrest level and it only adjusts higher from there.

I think I'm probably going to get her a frontier for my truck and a turbo for backup/use one short trips around town.

on your other thread, I saw the turbo pics.... and that's what I'd get...

but the big kid isn't bad... and if it fits better or she can sleep better in it because every kid is different... there you are.

BRU usually has them, otherwise, walmart, target, kmart, etc. have them.
