We are getting a van next week, so I shouldn't HAVE to choose car seats based on their width, but I may start watching a couple kids regularly. So now I feel like our three children should have seats that fit 3 across so that no matter what kinds of seats these potential daycare kids have, we'll all fit in a van.
Bottom line - DD2 has outgrown her snugride. I could either get DD1 a harnessed booster (though they don't come too narrow) or a convertible for DD2. As far as widths go, another Radian would be good, but I don't think that is in our budget right now. I'm thinking a CCO would be good, but it's so hard to say how long she'd fit in it. She's already taller than our other two at that age. Who knows if she'll always be a tall girl or if she'll plateau and fit into any seat. She just turned 10 months, weighs 21lbs, and is about 28" tall (I'll measure her torso after she wakes up, but it's long). She wears 18-24 mo clothing. She's tall. Grr...My brain hurts.
Any thoughts?
