I read another thread that inspired me to go search for info on a True Fit.
http://www.learningcurve.com/product/detail/Y11129?locale=en_US
"As your infant starts to grow, simply add the headrest back on and you are good to go in the rear-facing position up to 35lbs. And when your infant is ready to watch you drive (at 35 lbs or so) simply make sure that headrest is in place and turn your seat around"
Surely there has to be a better way to word it other than "when your INFANT is READY TO WATCH YOU DRIVE" ????
Am I just nit-picking or does anyone else find that odd? It seems to me like they have an excellent opportunity to educate parents- but appears they aren't on board with the AAP's recommendations of ERFing (though they do say at 35 lbs...). They have a good opportunity to educate parents and push their product. Though- devils' advocate- I'm sure whoever wrote the description lacks the same passion we share here about safety and seats and was just writing the description... but it still seems very odd to me. :twocents:
