My 3 year old in a HBTB (just playing around)

First of all, she is WAY too young/small to be in a booster. She is still RFing with plenty of growing room so she'll stay that way for a while.

Our truck broke down the weekend before last and we were stranded for a few hours (we were an hour and a half from home and had to wait for my BIL to get there to pick us up). The youngest three girls were with us (the older two were with their grandparents that weekend) and they were just hanging out in the truck playing. I'd taken all of the car seats out of the truck (since we'd have to move them to my BIL's vehicle) except for the TB since it wasn't installed (with the seat belt, etc...it just sits on the seat). DD#5 sat in the TB and DD#3 buckled her in and told me to look. I took a couple pictures with my cell phone. She is 3 years old (as of June 21) and 30 lbs so she meets the minimum weight and age for the TB (is there a minimum height?!? I can't remember... She's about 37-38 inches now though).

I honestly cannot imagine her actually riding in a booster. She seems SOO tiny. But, I have a friend whose daughter is a couple months younger, around the same height, and a couple pounds heavier who is in one full time :( I was honestly expecting the fit to be much worse though.

That's the great thing about the Turbo. If a seat says it fits a 3/30 child, it should actually fit a 3/30 child - and it does, wonderfully. She looks like she's slumping a bit, and fit would be improved if the arm rests were lowered, but even so, not bad.

Oh, and the armrests are on the highest setting, so I think if they were on the lowest one, that would have helped even more with the lab belt fit.

And she lasted about 2 minutes before she stuck the shoulder belt behind her...yeah, obviously no where near ready for a booster :)

Yeah, she was slouching. I tried to get her to sit up and even walked over there and scooted her butt back, but by the time I got back to the front seat, she was already slumping down again.

Looks all the way down. You should see my youngest at 18 months in one. The good fit on him is way scary.

THe minimum height limit on the high back turbo is 38 inches.

It does look like it's a bit on her neck. Was it all the way down? I'm not sure.

Yes, it was all the way down. I think a bit of the fabric part might have gotten bunched at the bottom of the headrest piece when DD#3 moved it down for her though.
