I tried it out rf'ing on the BRU test bench today and he only had 3" total to the top of the shell (so about 2" of torso growth).

DS2 just turned 15 months old this week!

We have the RA50 in the car right now and he has about 5" above his head to the top of the shell and about 7" in the TFP!

I know DS2 has a long torso and is in the 95th percentile for height, but geez! to Britax!

I have seen many other posts discussing the new changes to the britax seats. Hopefully Britax is listening to some of the complaints and might make some changes to increase the height.

My DD is 16mths, 34"(at her 15mth exam, she was 95% for height) and she has at least 4" above her head in the MA70. Your LO must be ALL torso. DD is in 18-24mths, both top and bottom.

I remember when the My Ride first came out, people were not happy with the lack of shell height. Several of us discovered that when the seat is installed on the BRU test bench, the child has less growing room than when installed in the car. I wonder if this is what we're seeing here too.
