e-z-on's site does not have a pic of what a Sewn on wrist restraint looks like. If anyone here has a pic of one i would like to know what it looks like.

well i had to order one with the needed extra restraints (since the person who said they would mail me one never did) that i need for the person wearing it had to have. Update first he is unable to remove the vest with just the upper arm restraints. He still has melt downs and i am not sure how to use the wrist restraints (that are sewn on) that is the only time i plan to use them A pic below with how i have them used is posted. I put it on him and only put one of them on(only way he would let me do it without a fight as he know that the wrist restraints are punishment) and that if 1 of them is on correctly then the other one should be the same. I am wondering what one if the 3 or if there is a different one that is the correct way. Oh yea and the ds still works in keeping him busy for longer trips.

Hmm, that don´t looks right to me.
In my opinion, the webbing is to small, if he has a meltdown, he could hurt himself.

Which ezon vest is this? Maybe you can post a better picture?

He is wearing the 103Z vest size is large.Thing is that he can remove the portable ones (he is quite strong). I got him a new one with sewn on figuring that they would be sewn on to the sides rather than right next to each other. He was able to remove the portable upper arm and same with the vest but now that they are sewn on he is unable to remove them. ( I tried it to and i was unable to remove them, the upper arm ones so i feel alot safer with him in the new vest). I do not have a very good camera i took the pic so the other wrist restraint was able to be seen to give you all an idea of what one of the 2 is being used with what hand.

This may have been asked before, but what is the issue that your DS needs to be restrained so completely in the car? If I'm remembering correctly, he's 21YO, right?

yes is is 21 and when he gets mad he with throw his electronic games around in the car. He also does not like to wear the vest(and will remove it if at all possible only reason for the upper arm restraints) he will not keep his seatbelt on and it is just not safe to drive if he is not safely seated that is the main reason for the new vest. like i said before the wrist will only be used in the event of a melt down untill he calms down. In the past 3 weeks he has only had 1 melt down.

Is your son in any kind of therapy? From your previous posts, he sounds like he has the ability to reason, and if that is the case, some trained therapists might be able to work with him to get to sit safely in the car utilizing a seatbelt. With your son already at 195 lbs and over the weight limit on the 103Z vest (only goes from 20-168 lbs.), the vest you have doesn't sound like a safe solution.

i know someone here said something about a heavy duty teather(ordered special for over 168 lbs), if i got that from e-z-on would it support 195lbs? I want to make sure before i look into other options. This is the last question i plan to ask until i find another option
