For all of you old enough to remember the 80's!!! I was a big Sting fan way back in the day, I even saw several Sting concerts in the 90's, but this is going to be very exciting to see them together again. I am taking my son- who is 18- it is going to be a mom & son adventure- (he is going off to college in the fall) I just had to tell! We even have floor seats at Madison Square Garden.:D Thanks for letting me beam...

Very cool. I've always liked Sting and Police, my wife isn't a big fan though. She especially can't stand Roxanne, so I always sing it when I want to annoy her.:D

Have a great time-Madison Square Gardens + FLOOR SEATS = good times

I am sooooo excited for you....and...um....REALLY JEALOUS!!! DH and I are big fans of The Police. The closest they are coming to Kansas City is in St. Louis. DH I can tell is already trying to talk me into doing a trip there to see them! (it's about a 4 hour drive)

Although, I was born in 1980 I am HUGE fan of Classic Rock and 80's music!! DH and I go to a lot of concerts together during the Summer.

Is anybody else saddened by Brad Delps(lead singer to Boston) sudden death. We usually see them in concert every year, and let me tell you when they say "It's a party, party, parrrrttttyyyy!" It really truely is. We love their newer cd, and the different flare of old and new mixed together...

Thanks you guys, of course, it's not until August!!!!! But I had to promise DH I'd have a huge Garage sale to offset the cost! As a teenager/young adult, I always ended up in the top section where you needed binoculars, and I figured, why not splurge once in a lifetime? Life is too short!

As a side note, I actually "met" Sting on my 24th birthday- he was in a play on Broadway, and afterwards, I got his autograph and he wished me Happy Birthday (of course, I had to announce it to him:p ) That was 17 yrs ago!!! He still is HOT!

Lucky you, that's great. I've been a big Police/Sting fan since I was in elementary school when the Police did a local concert here. A friend of mine had front row seats for a Sting concert in college and wouldn't stop talking about how hot he was for weeks after, lol. I totally agree he's still a hottie. The yoga does wonders, lol.

Oohhh.. you'll have so much fun! That should be a great show. I saw Sting with Annie Lennox a few years ago and we all loved it, even dd2 in utero at the time. Seriosuly - she would start kicking like crazy when the music stopped and not let up until it started again. :D

Cool! Friends of mine are going to go to the concert in Edmonton, Alberta...they asked if I wanted the extra ticket but I don't think I can go. :( 782km or 486m and they plan on staying a few days extra.

All right, sounds like fun. I'm not too much into the rock scene, but the police do have some great tunes. Hope you have fun.

Go for it. You'll regret it if you like them and don't go. I'm still kicking myself for not going to Florida to see the Bee Gees bring in the new milenium (they only performed one concert after that before Maurice passed away!). I'm going to Calgary in April, and paying way too much for tickets ($50.00) to see Ian Tyson. I've seen him before and he puts on a great show. If you love the music, GO!

Hmmmm, all depends on whether or not Rylan can spend time with his dad that weekend or maybe with the grandparents....if I can get a seat sale then I can drive out with everyone and fly home on the Sunday afternoon....hmmm. Have fun in Calgary, should be a good show.
