I've had a 2002 and now own a 2005. Car seat installs are pretty easy and straightforward, they are easier to install using latch. The third row is really tight for 3 across though. I barely fit 2 FPSE boosters and a ff'ing MA. The cargo space is pretty good because of the "well" in the back. The floor dips down low for added room. Its also nice for transporting big items, the second row seats come out and the third row folds down flat.
I commute 85 miles 5 days a week and have to fill up every 4-5 days depending on how much driving I do when I am not at work. We just took a trip to California and I averaged 350mi per tank. Decent, not great. Overall I think its a nice little vehicle. Its a more compact mini-van than most but it works for us. BTW, I usually have 4 kids all in car seats/boosters (5 in the summer) and everyone fits. Just FYI the 2004-2005 models have faulty coil issues and need to be replaced more often than most vehicles. There was also an issue with the PCV hose/joints causing the engine to misfire.
