The family took a roadtrip a while back and I rode in the back to keep the girls happy. Dd2 is behind the driver in a SR22, dd1 ff in the middle in a RA(40) and I rode comfortably behind the passenger seat. The car is a Toyota Matrix (08). When I sit next to the RA, my shoulders fit perfectly behind the shell of the car seat.
I will sometime soonish need a new seat for dd2 and I am wondering if there is a seat out there that puzzles well with the RA? We also have a RA50 that I would like to use (in the middle?) for dd1 instead of the RA40. One seat would be ff and one rf. Is there a comboseat that would work and I could use the RA on one side?

For what its worth, I also have found that in general the lower profile seat FF and the higher one RF tends to work better in our particular situation.
