Big Kid after-market products for car sleeping

Any thoughts or reviews on car seat/booster seat pillows for bigger kids?

A friend has asked me about this one http://www.skjp.com/product/73538/30027/_/Seat_Belt_Pillow™_-_greyorange. I'm not exactly sure how it attaches to the seatbelt. Does it interfere with the seatbelt fit at all? Also wondering if there is concern of the child leaning hard on the pillow and pushing the seatbelt down along with it? Would locking the belt fix that?

She has asked about this one too. http://www.skjp.com/product/73538/30005/_/Hug_Me™_-_pink I was wondering if it may push the child's head too far forward, out of the head wings.....but her son uses a backless booster so that doesn't come into play this time. What about in a HBB?

My friend's concern is that her son falls asleep in the car and leans toward the window. Her daughter also has leaning issues when asleep. She is in a HBB but still leans forward. They are leaving for a long road trip this weekend....southern BC to Edmonton so sleeping in the car is bound to happen and she wants them to be as safe as possible. Any help is appreciated.

Most aftermarket seat/seat belt accessories are not crash tested and there is no way to tell what they will do/not do in the event of a crash.

I assume the 1st link is supposed to be the Seat belt pillow? the link takes me to the home page.

I don't think that is appropriate at all... It looks like it will pull the belt way out of proper position.

The horseshoe pillow is also a no-go in my book. Though I don't have any suggestions as to how to remedy head slump other than a high back booster with nice headwings...
Others will have better suggestions I am sure. :)

I'm of the opinion that a child who can't remain in the proper position while in the vehicle is in a seat that's not appropriate for them. If the children's size allows, I'd suggest re-harnessing the one in the HBB and moving the one in the backless to the highback.
