Scenera Help!

I bought a Scenera to use on the airplane for DS2. We are flying on Thursday. I just took it out of the box (I've had it over a month) and went to re-thread the harness straps to the appropriate height. He needs them at the second to top slot. They are nowhere near long enough to reach the splitter plate ?? Like 4-5" too short, and that's fully pulled back not leaving room to even get him in.

What am I missing??? HELP! The seat is not very helpful if I can't strap him in!

Am I just having a blonde moment or has there been a problem with short straps? I can take a pic if needed, I just have to figure out how to attach:eek:

NEVER MIND! I'm an idiot!!:D

After stepping away from it for a few minutes I see much more clearly.

Couldn't figure out how to just delete the post!

You need to release the tension at the adjuster strap while pulling up on the splitter plate. All of your harness length is in that adjuster strap and right now it's set for the shortest setting.
