Target clearancing assorted carseats/boosters

The Marathon is still $199-ish where I'm at , and there are only 2 left for 50+ miles worth of Targets. The RA50 Suttons are long gone and the Stonehenges are full price. Big bummers!

I might keep an eye on the MA, though, but it hasn't been reviewed as positively on here as the RA50, so I'm hesitant to go there. We're going to have to fit 3 across a little Mazda Protege and MAs were mentioned by several people as working, but recent reviews here didn't recommend the MA. Is that just because it's an older model compared to the RA50? Both seem pretty narrow to me and that's what we really need.

Anyway, I guess in a couple weeks I'll make the trek down to the one Target that still has Marathons. I seriously hate the Deco Squares, though, so a new cover will be in order!

Thanks for keeping us posted, everyone--what a help this forum is!

I think the main reason the RA50 is recommended more often is because it is nearly the same as the MA, but a better price point. Seeing as how most kids don't make it anywhere near 65lbs in the MA, the 50lb weight limit on the RA50 is usually fine. The RA50 lacks lock-offs, but it also doesn't require HUGS. So it is a bit of a trade-off.

I would have been perfectly content with a RA50 if I could have found one on clearance. I ended up buying a MA from a member here because it was a better deal for me. Have you looked at AlbeeBaby? Generally, they have awesome deals on some Britax seats. I just checked and they have several MAs for 199 and even one for 189. So, basically a MA for the price of a RA50.

38.xx here. They weren't in the car seat section, though -- they were on an end cap. Waiting to see if the price drops, as a very rare sometime seat for the babysitter. It's so weird to have a 4-year-old 40-pounder all of a sudden!!

Why are they clearanceing all their seats? I went over to see if my target had any nautis left. So disappointing. I have been looking for one I can afford for awhile now and was so excited this was on clearance. Bummer. Does anyone know what they are putting out?

There will be more covers coming out, so out with the old and in with the new.

I went in yesterday and the booster's were sold out, clearance sign even gone, (even though online says they have some still) so I'm going to either check back at this store or another one. If not no biggie since DD is still a young 4.

The Let's Go at my Target was back up to regular price (got it on clearance on Monday), but the Girl's Rock was down to $22 and change. The NB Turbo (both the blue and the navy with flowers) were at $11 and change.

I went back today and Target had only the Girl's Rock left @ $22.54. DOM March 2010, not bad when the display is May 09'. I got once since DD will be 10 plus when it's expired. They had the NB for $9.78. If anyone needs me to go back for the last one or NB (they had 3 choices I believe) let me know.
