does this sound right?

Ok I took out the kids seats this weekend to clean my car and when i put the seats back in the top slot seems to be a different hight. It is 2 inches less than it was. It was at 15 inches now it is at 13. And drew who is in that seat FF just for this week is half in inch from the the top slot. How can it change this much? If i take it out and put it back in will it help? The seat is a comfortsport

Weird. Are they adjustable? I'm sure you checked this, but could the cover have just slipped down below the actual slot? Crazy. I have no idea!!!

the angle of the seat can change how they fit. When I put DS's husky in moms car he went from being about 1" over the 2nd from bottom slots to being about 1cm over them. Her seat backs are reclined differently than mine and so it changed how he fit.

not adjustable and i looked at the slot not just the padding and it is in the same spot in the same car it was. I am going to take it out and put it back in and see what happens
