Price for Signo?

I have a Recaro Signo that I might be wanting to sell soon. The DOM is Nov. 2009 and it's the desert midnight. It didn't have the part that was recalled. It was only used for about 6 months and I've used it a couple of times for some daycare kids, so it's in great shape. My question is... where do I list it - here, CL, ebay, locally? What do I ask for it?

Generally, you might start by using this formula: original price divided by lifespan times life left. So, say you paid $300, it has a lifespan of 6 years (not sure if that's true), and it has 5 years left. $300/6 * 5 = $250. No guarantee that it'll go for that price, of course, especially considering that the new version, the ProRide (?) is out soon.

Depending on where you live, craigslist may be easy to save from shipping it. You could try it here and see if anyone is interested. Recaros do pretty good on ebay so that might be the way to get the most for it but then you have to pay those darn ebay fees.

Thanks for the input. I'm thinking I'll probably end up putting around $150-$200 on it. I hadn't even thought about the new one coming out. That probably won't help me out much. My only issue with listing it 'not locally' is that I don't have the box still. Silly me, I let my husband recycle it. grr... I think I might try a board that my husband posts on at his work first. If it doesn't work there, maybe CL. It's just so hard to sell 'good' car seats around here. Most everyone thinks the cheaper the better.
