Recaro Vivo offically retired?

I was just looking at Recaro's USA site and it shows the Vivo under their retired products. I know many of us were told that their would be replacement covers for the vivos in june/early summer. I doubt they will even bother now.

Yeah, and callers have been told new seats would be shipping in April. Wonder if they lied on purpose or just had no clue?

Same here as it is the only one that fits 2 cars my dd rides in width wise and height wise. I so hope the Probooster fits. The only reason why it fits is the way the bottom is.

So does anyone know when these seats were last manufactured? I feel like I should snag one before they can't be found. My DS is only 4.5 but he does well in a booster, although he has only ridden with his grandma a few times.

A few sellers on ebay say they have new 2009 and 2010 in box so I am really not sure. The recaro authorized seller on ebay had Vivo's for sale that said shipping May 1 and they had a lot of them but now they do not have any Vivo's for sale all are the probooster

Oh boo! This is the booster i wanted for DS....

How long is their lifespan (eg do they expire in 5, 6, 7, years etc)?

Off to try to hunt one down!

The Recaro Vivo is still going forward at this time. We have had a couple new shipments which I believe were produced in the last few months.

Yup, all colors of the Vivo are in stock.

ftr, the Carbon Vivo I just received from diapers.com has a DOM of 03/22/10

Not bad for only $68.
