** update -
I was really thikning of waiting, hoping to find a newer model.
If I can save up enough I could possibly get a new one, I saw one color online new for $299 w free shipping on the switch, and then my mom has direct buy and can get one for $280 + shipping new. I just dont know which way to go....
.
original Question-
I am doing some shopping for a used Peg Perego pliko, I really want a switch, but with the luck Im having, there isnt any esp used, at a decent price, there are hardly any used Peg strollers in general esp compared to graco!
What would be a fair price, good price, and over priced - for a 2004 Peg Perego Pliko P3 ?? stated in "gently used" condition..? opinions please :D
THANKS bunches!

Under $100, assuming the skins didn't have any rips, or tears, and the wheels weren't overly used, and all the mechanics of the stroller were fine.

I see older P3's on my local Craigslist for around $75. I actually just scored a 2005 P3 (that looked almost brand new) for $35!!!

I paid $35 for mine on CL and it is in pretty much perfect condition and as a bonus he threw in a milano for $10:D

I don't hardly ever see them on my CL though, I had to drive to columbus to get mine but usually there's quite a few there or in cincy. For me it's worth it to drive a bit to get something I want at a good deal, but then I'm cheap like that.

I wouldn't buy an 05. I just paid $140 for a 2008/2009 "Green Bubbles" Pliko P3 in PERFECT brand new condition. Look in all your surrounding areas and wait it out a little while. Check at least 2 times per day and you'll find a better one. I just don't think you should consider spending even close to $100 for an 05 and they have made several changes to the stroller since then.
The frame, wheels, cup holder, canopy, basket and tray are all different :twocents: the basket on the older ones drags on the floor when anything remotely heavy is placed in it and most used ones from 07 or earlier will almost certainly have holes in the baskets, the wheels aren't as smooth, the canopy doesn't have the super awesome pocket on it and the new tray design is better IMO. I would really try to look in your surrounding cities for a few weeks and even if you drive an hour it will be worth it.

Another thing- remember how Craigslisters are! they do like to spell things differently so don't just search "Peg Perego" I found the one I got by searching "Peg-Perego" I would also recommend searching all of these common Craigslist spellings... PegPerego, Peg Pergo, Peg Prego, Pliko, PlikoP3, Pliko P3 etc. Craigslist is specific so if you are only searching one spelling you may be missing several listings every day.

Good luck!

I sold an 07 on my local CL that was used for a year in perfect condition for $75 so I think anything more than $30 is over paying...

I sold my 2005 last year for $35 but I just wanted it gone and said "The first person to get here with $35 cash gets it. No holdings." It was gone in a day.
