Does anyone know if the Compass Booster, folded & in its travel bag, fits in an airlines overhead compartment?

I haven't flown with one to say first hand, but if it would help, one poster replied to an earlier thread saying she flew with the original B500 model. She stowed it in the overhead bin on some planes and gate checked it on other smaller planes: http://www.car-seat.org/showthread.php?t=67289

Thanks for the link :)
I'm almost wondering if I should just pack her backless TB. She will be 7y/o in July, is 50" tall and 48lbs. We're renting a 2010 Caravan so it has side curtain airbags...I just don't know

We just traveled with our Turbo HBB this past March instead of one of our Compass boosters because my younger son doesn't fit well in the Compass. I actually used the travel bag that came with the Compass and I was able to fit the Turbo in it but I had to take the arm rests off to do it and detach the back and make sure it was on the lowest setting. I packed a screwdriver in my checked luggage (because I am pretty sure they won't let you bring a screwdriver on the plane) and put the armrests back on before we used it in the rental car. It also fit in the overhead compartment on most planes but like the Compass had to be gate checked on the tiny planes.
