friend needs suggestion for his 40lbs 2yr 9mon old DD

they currently have her in a seat that is outgrown in weight so need a new set ASAP (but not willing to pay an arm and a leg for new seat, as they feel she is OK in a booster since she is 40lbs!) I convinced them otherwise due to maturity issues. Also he is unemployed with no income right now, so living off his wife's part time salary and they need two new seats.

I would suggest the Maestro or if they can swing a Nautilus that would probably be better.

If he is not working now, why do they need two seats?

How is the child shaped -- is she proportionate or is she short and wide?

my DS is 34in tall and my DD is 38 and she is between them in height, but bigger then them both in weight. (my two are only 27 and 35lbs)

If she is not terribly tall or long in the torso, a Generations65 might work as well.

If they cannot afford two HWH seats, can they get by with one while he is not working and then get another when they are able to?
