Ventura vs. Flora Radian XTSL

Just sold the marathon, the zebra print cover, and waiting to sell the cowmoo cover (that one is hard to part with) so that I can buy another Radian XTSL. We have the Flora and love it. We are now debating Ventura. Is it as soft as the Flora? DH is dead set on it for his car. DS will use it when we go to cali, even though he would prefer Flora. DD loves Ventura like daddy and she is the main child to ride in it.

Is it good? Is it not?

We have the Ventura (because my hubby thought Flora was "too girly") and I hate it. It feels like a couch, not soft at all. Not rough exactly, but definitely not plush. I've had it for just a couple of months and it is fraying. I think I need to call them, even though it is a replacement seat, it shouldn't be doing this so soon. The belly pad is a mass of strings from the fraying. I'd definitely prefer a plush cover over this one.

Why or why doesn't Radian make a nice gender-neutral plush print?

The Bentley is SO boring and also doesn't match my car and the mesh are just asking to look tatty with my son's wear and tear! If I didn't think my mom and husband would have fits I'd totally buy him a Flora!

Flora, Bentley & Petal are the plushed. My DS rides in a Flora. I don't find that it's too "girly" and DH is happy with it as well.

I guess the flowers scream GIRL to me, but that is just me! I'd put my son in it. Of course, for a while he also rode in a Daisy Daze Scenera. Now THAT was girlie, but it was soooo cheap and it was for my mom's car.
