So I went and found a store today that carries the Frontier XT!!
I'm a little excited about this. So I took the seat out to my van and attempted to install it. I have an '03 Ford Windstar, I installed it on the back bench seat.
The first thing I noticed (after about 15 minutes) was that there is nothing on the stickers that tells you to flip the foot forward.....in fact I got 2 rock solid installs with the foot in Booster Mode  ETA: Uhhhh apparently I can't read either....in fact if you read the first sticker it tells you to flip the foot forward....lol
So once I figured that out, after flipping the seat over to look at the bottom I noticed the foot and checked the manual (no I didn't read the manual before installing.....I was just playing around. I would have read it over before actually using the seat!!), I attempted to install it again. WAY harder!!!! It took quite a bit of work to get them in solid.
Using LATCH/UAS was the best install...but knowing that I'd have to eventually switch to seat belt install I attempted a SBP install.....
I had to twist the buckle stalk once (should have done it twice, but was unable to in the seat position I was using), and rock the seat pretty good....but I got it in there nice and tight....not rock solid...but way less than 1" of movement.
I am in love with this seat!!!!! I just wish it came in red here in Canada....
Anyway here are pictures of the install
First some geeky ones...lol
And as you can see, a pretty good install with the foot in booster seat mode (NOTE: Please read your manual BEFORE installing your seat....it will tell you how to properly install it!!!!)
Installed next to the Nautilus
Here it is installed properly!
But it fits really well, and I've very happy with it!! Now just to order it!
Anyone from the US wanna buy me a Red Cover and ship it to me???
