Windsor Foods, a firm with operations in Lampasas, Texas, and Oakland, Miss., is recalling approximately 1.7 million pounds of ready-to-eat (RTE) beef taquito (JOSÉ OLÉ, EL PASADO, CASA SOLANA, E-Z EATS!, GIANT EAGLE, POSADA brand) and chicken quesadilla (EL PASADO brand) products that may be contaminated with Salmonella. These products were distributed to foodservice and retail establishments nationwide.

Ruiz Foods, Inc., a Denison, Texas establishment, is recalling approximately 115,700 pounds of a ready-to-eat (RTE) Ranchero Beef & Cheese Flavored Tornados beef product that may be contaminated with Salmonella. Ruiz Foods, Inc. distributes RTE beef product nationwide to retail and food service establishments.

The Estrella Family Creamery of Montesano, Washington, is recalling a production of Old Apple Tree Tomme cheese because it has the potential to be contaminated with Listeria monocytogenes. The Old Apple Tree Tomme cheese was sold at the Ballard and Seattle’s U-District farmer's markets in Seattle, Washington, and the firm’s farm store in Montesano, Washington the weekend of Feb. 27 and 28, 2010.

The Procter & Gamble Company announced today that it is voluntarily recalling Pringles Restaurant Cravers Cheeseburger potato crisps and Pringles Family Faves Taco Night potato crisps as part of an industry ingredient recall to protect consumers from potential Salmonella exposure.

McCormick & Company, Incorporated is initiating a recall of products manufactured with HVP (hydrolyzed vegetable protein) supplied by Basic Food Flavors of Las Vegas, Nevada, because the ingredient has the potential to be contaminated with Salmonella. The recalled products - McCormick French Onion Dip Mix, McCormick Vegetable Dip Mix, McCormick Onion Gravy Mix, McCormick Corn Bread Stuffing - were distributed nationwide and sold in retail stores. Two of the recalled products were also distributed for sale in international markets.

Herr Foods Inc of Nottingham, PA is voluntarily recalling 'Herr's Cracked Pepper and Sea Salt Flavored' Kettle Style Potato Chips. 'Herr's Cracked Pepper and Sea Salt Flavored' Kettle Style Potato Chips were distributed nationwide through retail stores, distributors, and internet sales.

National Pretzel Company of Lancaster, Pa. is voluntarily recalling all Honey Mustard flavored pretzels (HK Anderson Honey Mustard Pretzel Bites , CVS Honey Mustard Pretzel Bites, President’s Choice Honey Mustard Onion Pretzel Bite, Safeway Honey Mustard Onion Nugget , Sunflower Markets Honey Mustard Nugget, Bulk - Honey Mustard Onion Pretzel Pieces/Bites, Bulk - Whole Grain Honey Mustard Nuggets, produced since December, 2009 because an ingredient used in the seasoning has the potential to be contaminated with Salmonella. The recalled Honey Mustard Onion seasoned pretzels were distributed nationwide in retail stores and through repackers.

The products contain the ingredient Hydrolyzed Vegetable Protein (HVP) being recalled by Basic Food Flavors because of the potential to contain salmonella. The items - Great Nut Supply brand, Spec’s Wines & Fine Foods brand, Rouses Louisiana’s Best - were sold after January 26th, 2010 in six states through retail stores located in LA, MO, NM, OK, TX, WV.

Nestlé Professional North America, a Cleveland, Ohio establishment, is recalling approximately 6,000 pounds of a ready-to-eat (RTE) Minor's brand bacon base product that may be contaminated with Salmonella. The RTE product was distributed nationwide to distributors and restaurants.

Mincing Overseas Spice Company of Dayton, New Jersey announced today that it is recalling black pepper Lots 3258 and 3309 because of possible contamination with Salmonella. The black pepper was sold in 50 lb, 25 lb, and 20 lb cartons with Mincing Overseas Spice Company's name. Black pepper was not distributed at retail level and was shipped to FL, IA, IL, IN, MA, OK, NJ, NY, PA, RI, TX and WI.

Gourmet Salads, Inc., a Brooklyn, N.Y., establishment, is recalling an undetermined amount of various chicken products (Chicken Salad, Grilled Chicken Pasta & Broccoli, Chicken w/ Roasted Pepper and Mozzarella Wrap, Grilled Boneless Chicken Breast Cutlets, Teriyaki Chicken Breat) because the products were produced without the benefit of federal inspection. The chicken products were produced intermittently between November 5, 2009, and March 10, 2010, and were distributed to retail establishments in the New York City metropolitan area.

Frontier Natural Products Co-op, is voluntarily recalling several of its seasoning and spice products manufactured with non-organic black pepper that were sold under the Frontier brand and under the Whole Foods Market brands that contain black pepper supplied by Mincing Overseas Spice Company. The black pepper has the potential to be contaminated with Salmonella. Recalled products were sold in all 50 states and in some parts of Canada to distributors, retailers and consumers.

Orval Kent announced today that it is voluntarily recalling multiple dips as a precautionary measure because the product may be contaminated with Salmonella. The many of the recalled items (Pesto Ranch Dip, Cucumber Dill Dip, Spinach Dip) were sold under the Culinary Circle brand in locations nationwide. Orval Kent is also recalling Albertsons brand Spinach Dip sold in any department only at Albertsons stores in CA and NV and Jewel brand Spinach Dip sold in any department only at Jewel stores in IA, IL and IN.
