Evenflo Confidence Booster

Saw the Evenflo confidence booster irl today and I must say I was extremely impressed. It has EPS foam throughout - headrest, back and seat area! It was adjustable a million ways - seatback height, headrest height and seat depth. The buckle path was really nice, not under the armrests which DD always finds hard, and it even has little reading lights. I am going to have her try it out tomorrow, and then (if it passes her pickiness test) hopefully it will be mine! She had tried the parkway and declared it too squishy, so hopefully this will be a good compromise.

Wow, good for Evenflo! About time they brought some of the safety features from the Triumph (EPS, adjustment, etc.) to a booster! I wonder how tall it adjusts, though, in comparison -- considering how short the convertible shells are....

I took it down and adjusted it to its heighest seatback and headrest position, and the shoulder guides were exactly on par with the turbo I had beside it for comparison (as that is what DD is currently in), but there was actually an inch or even more maybe of headrest higher than the turbo. That being said, I am waiting to see her sitting in it before I pass final judgment. It does convert to backless for taller kids, but really why pay all the extra $$ for EPS headrest and seatback only to remove it:confused:. It was at Sears.

I played with it the other day and it seemed it just didn't go that high.

DS is only 5, with a 15 inch torso, and it seemed to only go up an inch or so more than his shoulders/head. He's not a big kid, LOL.

I might just not have pulled high enough. It looked like there were numbers on the back to indicate... like 1, 2, 3. I should fiddle with it more.

When I hear back exactly how tall it is for sure, I will make final judgment. :) I liked it when I briefly played with it, though. Not very deep wings at all, I don't know if I could go for that myself, but overall I liked it, especially the belt guides.

I played with one at walmart and while I was impressed with the seat itself, I was definitely not loving the way it adjusts. To me it seemed alot harder then the compass booster I have, maybe I'm just spoiled but it just seemed like way too much work.
