For the upcoming new baby! Igot a big bonus at work today:D and treated myself to a new carseat:p

Any quirks I need to know about it? I'm so excited to have something new to play with. I've exhausted all playing options with my radians, priori and EFTA

I think the only wonky thing is how you adjust the height of the harness... you have to do it from the hip area... basically taking out the whole harness to move it... BUT... at least no splitter plate will get caught!... and the great part is that it is taller and goes longer than most other ERF infant seats (aka... infant seats going past 22lbs) out there... and for a better price for features.

The biggest plus for me is the fit for small babies. I'm just so paranoid that the new baby will be small (but hopefully not as small as Chloe was) and won't fit in a Graco seat properly. We had a SS1 with DD who came home at 4.5lbs and it was way too big for her. ( I didn't know at the time :( )I'm just glad that I'll have a seat that I know will work.

I think you are thinking about the Safety 1st Designer series. The Onboards have a splitter plate.
