The Canada MA testing...assume same for FPSV?

I have a MA & FPSV, both 2007's.

Based on the recent Canada testing results of the MA, is it safe to assume the same would potentially occur with the FPSV, since they are essentially the same seat?


My 20mo/26lb rides rf in the MA regularly. My 3.75 yo/33lb rides FF in DH's truck rarely in the FPSV, however it is untethered due to the year vehicle. (Working on getting tethers from dealer now)

I have a RA (also in the other, less used vehicle) expiring in the next year and debating if I want to go for a "twin" discount and upgrade at least 2 seats instead of 1.

Hi and welcome :)

Trying not to be flip about it, but from what we know about the Canada testing on the Marathon, it's not even safe to assume that the same thing would potentially occur with the Marathon. There are too many variables.

In the scenario you descibed with your children, it sounds like they are in safe, appropriate seats :thumbsup:

However, if it's something that's going to bug you, we are here to enable your purchases :D
