http://www.news-medical.net/?id=9684 I've never seen a car seat like the one those twins are in? Actually, it wouldn't be a car seat at all would it, given there's nothing separating them and their skulls could collide with each other? :confused:

Yikes! Looks like a double stroller to me -- with the blankets behind them + no crotch straps.... Bad image for a vehicle safety article :(

Weird to use a picture of a double STROLLER for a car seat article.

I disagree though, I think they DO have crotch strap. You can see the black strap between their legs and something around their waist.

It almost looks like the shoulder harness was added later, but it's clearly not a 5 pt.

It looks to me like a flap hanging down -- like from adjusting the lap strap.... Still odd enough considering I've never seen a stroller without a crotch strap either :rolleyes:

Yes that's what I thought too, the flap from the lap folded down. Oh well, interesting all the same isn't it!

It looks to me like a plastic stroller (kinda like a theme park stroller) with a crotch strap riveted in place. I think the little girl in the right of the pic just has hers off-center with the waist strap. I haven't read the article yet tho.
