Ilana is 33# now in her BV. She'll stay in that till next week when we get the new cover for our RN and then she'll move.

Yup, the full 33. (I accidentally went a little--maybe a pound-- over for a few weeks with my dd1 and didn't even feel bad about it :cool:.. they are tested with the same dummies the 35lb seats are tested with :))

I flipped DD when she had a growth spurt and hit 31-32lb. She was over 3yo so that probably made a difference. If she would have been 2.5 or younger I would have held out (and probably used our Uptown as a primary instead of backup).

Ds was hovering at 31-32 lbs and rides in the MA only once in a while in dh's car. So I flipped it because otherwise he might be over 33 at any time and I wouldn't realize it. If it was in the primary vehicle I would have waited until he hit 33 clothed.
