If you had a child who was almost 6 years old (birthday is April 11) who weighs 39.4 lbs fully clothed with shoes on who is on the last harness slot of the GN? She has been booster training recently and does well in a HBB. Would you keep her harnessed until she outgrows it (she's got about an inch of room) or would you be ok moving her to a hbb?

I would rather keep her harnessed until she hits 40 pounds, but obviously not if she actually outgrows the Nautilus before then.

If she fits the Nautilus and is under 40 pounds, my preference is to keep her in the Nautilus.

If she outgrows the Nautilus, get her out of the Nautilus!

If she fits the Nautilus and goes over 40 pounds then either Nautilus or booster is fine.

I'd let her switch. We moved Liberty at that time, her birthday is April 15. She was on the last slot of her EFTA and at 41lbs. She wanted a booster and she was nearly out of kindergarten, so we let her switch.

Her shoes always put her over the 41lbs, she wears those really heavy Heeleys. LOL. Funny thing is, now at almost 7 she is still 41lbs and her 3 year old brother is catching up, he's 33lbs. I can't imagine that other parents would have him in a booster already. LOL.
