Thank you all for your input and tips on flying with a RN. It was so easy! I carried it as a back pack which gave me two free hands. It installed FF easily and DD could use the tray table which was nice. I was able to put DD in the center seat since it didnt overhang at all. The first flight attendant told me to put it next to the window but I showed her that we could get by it being in the center and she said it would be fine. Two other attendants asked me if it was FAA certified because they had never seen one like it so I was glad I knew where that little sticker was!
I got lots of comments from moms trying to manage their seats about how easy the RN looked and I raved about much I loved it and how easy it was to travel with.
