Thank you all for your input and tips on flying with a RN. It was so easy! I carried it as a back pack which gave me two free hands. It installed FF easily and DD could use the tray table which was nice. I was able to put DD in the center seat since it didnt overhang at all. The first flight attendant told me to put it next to the window but I showed her that we could get by it being in the center and she said it would be fine. Two other attendants asked me if it was FAA certified because they had never seen one like it so I was glad I knew where that little sticker was!
I got lots of comments from moms trying to manage their seats about how easy the RN looked and I raved about much I loved it and how easy it was to travel with.

I love flying with our Radians FFing too. I have never flown with it rear facing but it is the only seat I will travel with FFing. In the past I have flown with two Radians and my 2 older children by myself and never had a issue with carrying them or installing them.

This summer I will be traveling with one Radian (FFing) and 1 Coccoro (RFing). I hope to love it as much!

I'm still trying to find the RN love. We bought one a few years ago when they were new on the (CAN) market and had far too many issues so it was returned. Since then, we have bought the XT and DS1 uses it FF. We always flew with a Scenera in the past but recently flew with the RN and LOVED it. DS was comfortable and it installed like a breeze and he could finally use the tray table!

Add me to the list of those who love flying with their RN... previously we'd only ever flown with an MA... and what a world of difference between flying with the two!
