What part number would one need to retrofit a 1998 Dodge Durango with top tether anchors? Any where do I order it from, Dodge? Does it specify where (what seating position) is gets put in? I need to get the part so EX DH can safely transport the kiddos as my youngest (3 next month) is nearing the end of her ERFing journey in his car. Wanting to put her middle row, passenger outboard. (His third row is broken and doesn't stay up- it folds up on itself so putting any kiddos there is out of the question). Thanks.

I don't see a listing for a 1998 Dodge Durango with three rows in the 2009 LATCH manual, but it is listed as retrofittable in each second row outboard seating position in the 2-row Dodge vehicle section of the LATCH manual. The tether anchor retrofit part number depends on the type of second row vehicle seating you have in the Durango. If it has the standard second row seating with a 60/40 split, each second row outboard position can be retrofitted using part number 05015403AA. If it has the second row 40/20/40 split seat, then it's retrofittable in each second row outboard position using part number 05012007AB. The tether anchor retrofit parts and labor should be free of charge at a Chrysler/Dodge dealership and you'll need to refer the dealership service department to Chrysler Technical Service Bulletin 23-029-08 for details of the retrofit policy and also to Warranty Information Center (WIC) Article 1339 for additional information.
