Are vivos still being made? What's the exp. on them?

title says it all. What is the exp. time period on them?

i don't think they have super new ones right now. the blush & cobalt have the oldest DOMs (2007) i think those 2 covers are really discontinued. the carbon is a new one that have seen some 2009 DOMs. i finding it increasingly difficult to find much in stock anywhere online. according to recaros store site they are expecting new ones this month so some covers will have 2010 DOMs soon.

i believe the vivos have a 6 yr expiry on them. someone correct me if i'm wrong

Yes, 6 year expiration on the Vivo. Mine's (Crimson - purchased through Albee Baby) DOM is Dec 2007, IIRC. I am for sure it was made in '07, just not sure on the month.

Same here. Both of mine I bought in March of last year and have DOM's of 2007, but I got them for $50 each so I am fine with that.

same here, too... I got mine at big lots, so it's got a 2007 date on it, but that's fine as Ruthie will be 9 when it expires... and in dh's car, that will mean she'll be over 4'4-4'5 (when kids typically can fit the seatbelt on the middle seat without a booster... the outboard ones are different, but there you are) and in my car, by then, she'll either be in the Monterey, or we'll get a backless or some other booster... I haven't figured out yet if I'll keep the Monterey after Jeffrey outgrows it... it will depend how she fits in it at that point.
