New seat?

I am not loving my Frontier anymore so I am strongly considering a new seat. DD is 3 1/2yrs old... 38" and 35lbs...14"torso. What would u get if you were me?! I'd like to stay under $200 so DH doesn't drop dead when I tell him I bought a new seat! :rolleyes:

If I were you, I'd buy something to keep her rear facing. :whistle:

Assuming you're going to keep her forward facing, I'd get a Graco Nautilus. Why didn't you like the Frontier?

That's what I want to do. Bad. But I don't really have many options for it. I would *LOVE* a My Ride.. I bought one for my niece and I just adore the seat. But not sure I could make it last too long.

I'm not sure what I don't like about the frontier... I just feel like I've had a million problems with it, between the fraying on the harness & cover, to the straps twisting.. I can't catch a break. I've only had it a few months!

Some models of Radian go to 40 pounds RF and some go to 45. Plus the Complete Air goes to 40 RF. Those are all taller than the My Ride.
Wasn't sure if you knew that...
But even so, my dd loves her Radian even forward facing, she's a little bigger than your kiddo and still has a lot of room to grow in it.

My 27 month old is the exact same size as your 3.5 yr old, torso length and all. He is 38-38.5 inches tall, about 35lbs and has a torso around 14-14.25 inches. He is currently rear facing in the MyRide with about 2.5-3 inches of shell above the top of his head. He might make it to 3 yrs old rear facing. The Radians will definitely fit yours rear facing for at least another year and I believe you can get the Radian 65SL for under $200 at some places. Babycatalog.com is having a sale on their Radians right now. You could get a Radian 80SL for $215 but you won't see the sale price until the seat is in your cart.
