Question Need RF seat recommendations for Honda Civic

I have a 2 door 1998 Civic and I am hoping to find a convertible seat that will fit RF. Any ideas?

I would like to keep my daughter RF as long as possible but with a small 2 door vehicle I am worried I wont find a rear facing convertible to fit my car.

I need something that is either super easy to install or cheap enough to buy two. We have two vehicles and will need to move the seat back and forth between cars daily.

Thanks for any suggestions!

How old is your child and how much does she weigh? What is your budget? I have a couple of ideas but I won't spam you until you share those relevant pieces of information :p

Hi there,

I have a 2000 Honda Civic Si (2-door coupe) which would be the exact same body as your car. We currently have the True Fit in there for our toddler.

We chose this seat b/c it's RFing up until 35lbs & has a nice wide seat. I'm not short either - I'm 5'8" with long legs & I can still have my seat positioned comfortably. Getting our son in & out is a bit awkward but you get used to it. :)

Edited to ad....they are quite affordable seats, especially when you get them on sale at Zeller's & according to my husband, much easier to install than the Graco Safeseat we previously used. We recently got a 2nd seat for our truck when Zeller's had them on sale - I think they were $149.99.

Thanks!
My child is currently 12 months old, 29" tall and 18 lbs
I thought I had more time since she is so light but in re-reading my Snugride manual last night she needed to be moved out of it when she hit 29"

Our budget is up to $200 for one seat if it is easy to install and can be moved DAILY from one car to another. For 2 seats we could probably go to $250 TOTAL for 2.

Thanks SO much for any help you can provide!

I would check out the True Fit then. We've been using ours in my Civic since about March & have been very happy with it. Thankfully it is a very easy install as we've had to bounce it around between our Yukon & the Civic before we recently bought the 2nd one. It only takes a couple of minutes to get a good tight fit once you get the hang of it.
