i think i am going to get the regent for my daughters, what are you opinions, i had thought about the marathon for my youngest, but i dont want to have to buy a new seat anytime soon after this purchase....

4 years 4 months-40 in tall-45 pounds-14 inch torso
22 months -33 in tall- 30 pounds- 12 inch torso

do you think she will be to small for it?

should i go with the radian?

also i have a 5 year old nephew i will be watching and transporting, i need something for him, he usually just sits in belt, he is big, like 55 pounds, would just a booster seat for him be okay?

thanks

The 22-month-old will probably fit in the Regent, but she would benefit from remaining RF if you can make it work. What seats do you currently have? Do you have a convertible that RF to 33 or 35 pounds? That would probably be better for her at this point. The Regent's lowest slots are at 11.5", I believe, so she will fit if you want to buy a Regent for her.

Your nephew should definitely be in a booster. I doubt at his age he passes the 5-step test, but it is possible. He probably still needs a booster.

I think that I'd go for a Marathon (or something similar) for the 22-month-old. Our son is four years old and still fits in his Marathon with about another year to go, I think. Since the Regent is not a RF seat, then I'd get something that will keep her RF for as long as possible...

Yes, I think I'd go for a Marathon for the younger, as well. My dd was 5 inches taller than your dd when we moved her to a Husky (same as Regent), and had she been any smaller I would have gone with a Marathon.
