hi, I have a similar question, I hope you don't mind I ask you guys, I just joined here and I am planning to buy a carseat tomorrow, taking advanyage of the Sales. Anyways, I am looking for a britax boulvard in a girly color. My question is if I get one that has DOM from april 09, Is that too bad? I have only owned one infant car seat, so not experienced yet!! I prefer to get a newer one, but I called them and that is the DOM they gave me, but I like the price so I am thinking about ordering it, any suggestions would be great.

If you'd like to explore other convertible carseat options and post back with your child's age, height, and weight, there are other convertible carseats that likely could be more bang for the buck so to speak for you. There are some convertible carseat models that are fairly new to the market that can rear face up to 40 or 45 lbs. vs. the Boulevard's 35 lb. rear facing weight limit, for example, and would allow your child to rear face longer than the Blvd. for optimal safety.
