i had been thinking about another radian when while driving apex popped into my mind. it's cheaper and slightly height slots, but very wide. i went to the store to SEE in person. my first thought was "no way" but after getting us all back in the car and driving 1 exit down the highway i went back to test it and it works!! so well that my almost 4 year old slept for 2 HOURS!!!!! this being the boy that doesn't nap! i just have to move the other two. i have the apex pass OB, touiva center with baby and radian drivers OB with david. i may not have to buy another seat!

Oh, cool that the Apex works for your three-across! What vehicle is it again?

How do the slots compare to the Radian once installed and child is in the seat?

i removed the cushion thing and he has about2 more inches in this til he is at the top slots. this seat slants down a bit though.

Wow--so it appears you have an Apex with 19 inch top slots!! Or at least one that fits a child with a 19 inch torso (kind of like how the Radian measures lower than 18 inches but kids fit in that with an inch more room than a Marathon).

Too cool! Makes me want to go try all the Apexes I can find.

Oooohhh, I've been on a mild shopping spree the past couple of days (bought a Camo Compass B510 and a bunch of clothes and dress-up stuff for Hayley) and I might not be able to resist buying a brown Apex while I've got the extra $$.

I mean, with all of Hayley's friends that I transport, I can't really have too many seats, right? :p

NEVER!!! just think of resale value to folks like us! i think that is how i justify everything-resale value or it is going through 3 kids!
