I am going to be a new mom and drive a Honda Accord Coupe, I am not sure what seats will work best with my car. Does anyone have some advice for me and my car.

What year is your Coupe?

The Graco Snugride worked well for my friend who has a 1996 Accord Coupe.
The Graco Snugride also worked well for my friend who has a 2000 Accord Coupe.

If you can give us a little more information, we would be better able to help you. :)

A coupe is a 2 door, right?

My sister has a 96 honda civic, so a bit smaller than your accord and has a safeseat in the back. It is installed behind the driver and she says she has to tip the seat to get it in there, but it fits really well. She has theorized that if they move the base to behind the passenger, it would be much easier to put the seat in because she could leave the seat all the way forward. However, they are just going to replace the car instead.

My point? If a safeseat will fit in the back of a 2 door civic, pretty much any infant seat will fit in the back of a 2 door accord.

I would also check out the Chicco Keyfit.

This is also a good website to try:

Whatever brand of CSS (Chld Safety Seat) that you buy I would HIGHLY recommend that you get one that has the harness adjuster in front of the baby and not behind the CSS. The rear adjust CSSs are very difficult to adjust correctly and I have NEVER seen a parent use this type of CSS correctly.

As for what will fit you car I'm not sure, but another poster said that a SafeSeat would fit in a 2 door Civic. You should be OK with just about any CSS infant carrier if your car is bigger than the Civic, as the SafeSeat is one of, if not the largest infant carrier. We started out with a Snug Ride with our first child, before the SS was around, and have now upgraded to the SS with #2. Both are great carriers, but you will get a lot more seat time out of the SS than the SR. :)
