Has anyone used the BJCM 2010 stroller with the larger basket?

I am researching the BJCM and read that the 2010 model has a new larger basket. Has anyone seen or used it for comparison? If I order one now will it come with the new basket? I actually like the 2009 red/black but may go with another color if the new basket it worth it especially since Albee baby has the new colors on sale right now. Any input would be greatly appreciated.

You could always call Baby Jogger's customer service (800-241-1848
) and see if the new basket is able to be used on previous models (2009 and earlier).

I just received a new basket under warranty because mine frayed and came off partially. It literally just snaps on with a few buttons.

A larger basket would be awesome :D

I have only just ordered my 2010 bjcm so I haven't seen it yet, but I have read on another forum that its great and a LOT bigger- they said they were shocked at how big! Apparently it is made of a different material as well, more like the canopy fabric instead of net like the old basket.

I liked the red/black but really wanted the bigger basket so have ordered the plain black which should arrive this week. :)

I went to USABaby this afternoon and they had the last 2009 model along with the 2010 and here is a picture of the difference. It is a bit bigger, I put my wallet in the middle of each basket to kind of get an idea. My daughter LOVED sitting in these, is it wrong to get "her" one from Santa??

THIS is the 2009 basket, the mesh is where it is already angled down, towards the bottom of the basket

I bought a 2009 BJCM last month from AlbeeBaby and it has same same basket as the 2010 model.

I'm not sure how it compares to the old 2009 mesh basket, but it's definitely roomy and we can fit a lot in there.

Okay, that was weird... as soon as the page refreshed with my reply... they showed up. Of course.

Now just another reason to want another BJCMD. I have the blue one that was discontinued, and now I want a different one. :p
