Intera

Can the base be taken off of the Intera to be used as a RF convertible?

That was the only way I could fit 3 across in my friend's van, but I didn't have the manual to check the specifics. If I can take the base off, we are golden. If not, I don't think 3 across is possible with her available seats.

TIA

I am SSSSOOOOOOOO happy to hear that. I worked with so many configurations. I hate that back seat. The spacing of the seat belts is awful. We did it though! No more kiddos riding in the front

What vehicle (just out of curiosity) does she have?

2007 Kia Sedona. I have a thread in the install section, but no one had real world ideas without radians or boosters. She does day care and has 5 kids now and was putting one in the front in a booster. I demanded she let me try find a 3-across in the back. I will update the other thread, too. But just for your FYI, I ended up fitting a CS FF driver's side, Intera w/o base RF center, Scenera FF pass side. It was hard work. BTW, the 3mo will be using the Intera if he does fit well we try it out IRL on Wed AM.

Here is the link to the thread with seats we had to work with and ages of the children. Oh, and hers is the LWB with the 60/40 split seats.
