Experation dates... ???

Ok i just got the uptown today, and was looking it over breifly before putting it out in the car, and it says on the back "expires December 2014" ... now wait a min that means it last (assuming it was mad last month) 8 years :eek: I don't think i can see using the seat that long, even if we do have another child again, once it's 6 that will prolly be it, but i wanted to see what others thoughs were. :)

Dorel has always been vague about expirations--they like to say "5 to 7 years". :confused:

I'm guessing the Uptown is 7 years, and they only have one "month" stamp, so all seats made in 2007 will expire in December of 2014, regardless of which month in 2007 the seat was actually made?
