I missed the original post and read through the recent one after the MA poll....I guess my main question is how do you really know that the testers followed manufactures instructions and installed them correctly....as they put a 52lb dummy in using latch..were there other errors...
Is TC a reliable testing facility as opposed to say Consumer Reports who we know screws up car seat testing all the time.
I guess I was surprised to see so many people ready to abandon their MA's....my DD is just about outgrown hers at 43 lbs (she's 6) and her expires next month and she normally rides in a Regent in my car, but IL's have an MA (soon to be Frontier), and DS is 34 lbs in his MA FF. Getting new seats for DS is not an option at this point.
