Electra Bicycle Company Expands Recall of Bicycles with Front Trays or Baskets; Trays and Baskets Can Come Loose and Pose Fall Hazard to Riders. Sold by: Authorized Electra Bicycle dealers nationwide from October 2008 through August 2009 for between $600 and $750 for the bicycles and about $100 for after-market trays and baskets.

Single Meter Sockets Recalled by Milbank Manufacturing Due to Fire and Electrocution Hazards. Sold at: Electrical supply distributors in N.Y., Pa., Vt. and Mass. and at local hardware stores in N.Y. from May 2009 through August 2009 for about $70.

Land O’Lakes Purina Feed LLC is recalling a single lot of Country Acres® Home Grown Turkey & Quail Starter 30% BMD 200 feed due to a lower than formulated protein level. The product being recalled was distributed to dealers in Louisiana, southern Arkansas, eastern Texas and southern Mississippi.

Fisher/Rex SandwichesofRaleigh, NC is recalling some of their sandwiches because they have the potential to be contaminated with Listeria monocytogenes. The recalled products were distributed to convenience stores, gas stations and other retail stores in North Carolina, South Carolina, and Virginia.

J.F. O'Neill Packing Company, an Omaha, Neb., establishment is recalling approximately 33,000 pounds of beef tongues that may not have had the tonsils completely removed. The company is recalling all products packed between July 1, 2009, and October 8, 2009. These products were shipped primarily to distribution centers in Nebraska and California for further sale to restaurants, hotels and institutions.

San Diego Meat Company, a San Diego, Calif., establishment, is recalling approximately 925 pounds of ground beef products that may be contaminated with E. coli O157:H7. The above products were produced October 7, 2009 through October 9, 2009 and October 12, 2009 and were distributed to restaurants and two caterers in the San Diego County area.
