Paula Deen® Cast Iron Cookware Sold by QVC Recalled Due to Burn and Laceration Hazards; Distributed by Meyer Trading Co. LTD. Sold through: QVC’s televised shopping programs, its Web site www.qvc.com, and QVC retail and employee stores from October 2007 through July 2009 for between $35 and $55.

DeVilbiss Recalls Delta, Excell, Porter-Cable, Pressure-Wave, Water Driver Brands of Pressure Washers and Air Compressors Due to Fracture and Laceration Hazards. Sold at: Both products were sold at home centers and hardware stores nationwide. Recalled pressure washers were sold from January 2004 through November 2005 for between $300 and $1,400. The recalled air compressors were sold between December 2004 and October 2006 for between $300 and $500.

Guardian Full-Face Diving Masks Recalled by Ocean Technology Due to Visor Separation Hazard. Sold by: Direct sales and diving equipment retailers nationwide from March 2009 through August 2009 for $800.

Unomedical Inc., a manufacturer of medical devices, today announced that it is conducting a voluntary recall of certain units of the single-patient use Manual Pulmonary Resuscitator (MPR). The recall only impacts MPRs manufactured from July 2002 – March 2008.

Philips announced today that it is voluntarily recalling approximately 5,400 HeartStart FR2+ automated external defibrillators (AEDs). This recall is being conducted due to the possibility of a memory chip failure that may render the device inoperable.

The Texas Department of State Health Services is warning consumers not to eat certain imported dried plums and products containing imported dried plums because they have elevated levels of lead. Most of the products typically are sold as salted or candied treats in Asian and Hispanic markets but also are available in other retail outlets.
